Scope: This includes the purchase of dissolved oxygen meters, moisture meters, air quality meters, and a biology slide set and other various items, all of which are essential for the environmental studies program at the Barack Obama School for Social Justice. Resolution:

WHEREAS the Board of Education wishes to enter into a contract with Carolina Biological Supply Company for the purchase of dissolved oxygen meters, moisture meters, air quality meters, a biology slide set and other various items. All items are essential for the environmental studies program at the Barack Obama School for Social Justice. These items will support the Pathways in Technology Early College High School program at the school (PTECH) for the 2024-2025 school year,
WHEREAS the district administration has designed in conjunction with Carolina Biological Supply Company a program which meets the objectives set forth by the Board and the New York State Education Department, and,
WHEREAS the Board of Education authorizes the Superintendent of Schools to enter into an agreement with Carolina Biological Supply Company to purchase these items, and
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: That the Board of Education hereby authorizes the Superintendent of Schools to enter into an agreement with Carolina Biological Supply Company at a cost not to exceed $19,972.35.
