Tri-State Folding Partitions, Inc. Term: 365 calendar days Amount: $119,000.00 Bid No. RFB-7225A Scope: To authorize the award of a general fund service contract for district-wide, “Maintenance and Repair of Gym Equipment” to Tri-State Folding Partitions, Inc. for $119,000.00 and a term of 365 calendar days. Overview: In compliance with General Municipal Law 103, bids were let and opened in public on December 20, 2024. Two (2) bids were received, examined and all due diligence observed in determining that Tri-State Folding Partitions, Inc. is the lowest responsive and responsible bidder. The highest bid was $234,700.00. This is the annual service contract, with the provision for renewal up to two (2) years by mutual consent and under the same terms and conditions as described for the preventive maintenance and repairs of the bleacher systems, backboard systems, safety checks and repair of damaged and unusable movable and fixed backboards throughout the District. Tri-State Folding Partitions, Inc. won this contract in the past through competitive bidding and has performed acceptably.

WHEREAS in compliance with General Municipal Law 103, bids were duly solicited, opened and read aloud in public on December 20, 2024 for Bid No. RFB-7225A “Maintenance and Repair of Gym Equipment”, and WHEREAS as a result of an examination of the bids submitted, the administration determined that Tri-State Folding Partitions, Inc. was the lowest responsive and responsible bidder with a bid of $119,000.00. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: That the Board of Education hereby authorizes the Superintendent of Schools to award Bid No. RFB-7225A “Maintenance and Repair of Gym Equipment” to Tri-State Folding Partitions, Inc. for an amount not to exceed $119,000.00 for a term of 365 calendar days, renewable for up to two (2) additional years.
