In accordance with Section 100.21(c) of Commissioner’s Regulations, the New York State Education Department requires that a school district submit the appropriate forms for Public School Closures.

WHEREAS in accordance with Section 100.21(c) of Commissioner’s Regulations, the New York State Education Department requires that a school district submit the appropriate forms for public school closures, and
WHEREAS the Yonkers Public Schools, will close School 9, located at 53 Fairview Street, Yonkers, New York 10703, BEDS#662300-01-0009 in anticipation of school consolidation and occupancy of newly constructed schools.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: That we, the Members of the Board of Education, do hereby request the Board of Regents of the State of New York to close School 9 at the end of the 2023/2024 academic year.
