Scope: Data Recognition Corporation is the sole source of the placement test materials. The New York State Education Department has updated the placement tests for the ABE/GED students from TABE 11/12 to TABE 13/14. Pathways to Success must purchase the new testing materials to stay in compliance with NYSED guidelines.

Resolution:

WHEREAS the Board of Education wishes to enter into a contract with Data Recognition Corporation to purchase materials to support Adult Education students for the 2024-2025 school year,
WHEREAS the district administration has designed in conjunction with Data Recognition Corporation a program which meets the objectives set forth by the Board and the New York State Education Department, and,
WHEREAS the Board of Education authorizes the Superintendent of Schools to enter into an agreement with Data Recognition Corporation to provide these materials, and
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: That the Board of Education hereby authorizes the Superintendent of Schools to enter into an agreement with Data Recognition Corporation at a cost not to exceed $18,193.06.
