Amount: Not to exceed $1,204,588
Scope: To provide general school and office supplies for the 2022-2023 school year from Staples NYS OGS contract PC67296 and School Specialty, The Cooperative Purchasing Network contract R141608 & R201105.
Funding: Multiple General Fund Accounts (B2520)
Resolution: WHEREAS the Board of Education wishes to enter into a contract with the attached vendors who hold New York State OGS contracts that may be used by the Yonkers Public Schools under the current Yonkers Board of Education Policy and New York State General Municipal Law to purchase general school and office supplies to support the 2022-2023 school year,

WHEREAS the Administration wishes to use the discounts to purchase supplies as needed throughout the 2022-2023 fiscal year,

WHEREAS the Board of Education authorizes the Superintendent of Schools to enter into an agreement with the attached vendors to provide these services, and

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: That the Board of Education hereby authorizes the Superintendent of Schools to use the vendors as listed on the attached page to provide general school and office supplies for the 2022-2023 fiscal year at a cost not to exceed $1,204,588

It is acknowledged and agreed that pursuant to the terms of that certain intermunicipal agreement by and between the City of Yonkers Board of Education (“BOE”) and the City of Yonkers (the “City”) as filed in the Office of the City Clerk on June 16, 2014, the terms of this agreement are subject to review and revision by the Corporation Counsel, as well as approval by the City’s Board of Contract and Supply. Furthermore, this Agreement shall not be enforceable until signed by both parties and approved by the Corporation Counsel’s Office.
