1. Annual Review of Preschool Disabled Children
Term: 2022-2023 School Year
Scope:This is a resolution as required by Part 200 Regulations from the Special Education Department requesting the Board of Trustees’ approval of all Annual Review recommendations for preschool students receiving special education services, as determined by the Committee On Preschool Special Education (CPSE) during the month.
FOCUS POPULATION:
Students ages 3 to 5 who are classified as preschool students with a disability
ASSESSMENT PROCESS:
Review IEP Goals for each preschool student receiving special education services to determine if they are still eligible for services for the 2022-2023 school year.

Ladies and Gentlemen:
WHEREAS: A Committee on Preschool Special Education has been organized and approved by the Board of Education and said Committee has conducted Annual Review meetings in accordance with the requirements of the State of New York and has made recommendations for disabled students in State approved out-of-district public and private schools in accordance with the Regulations of the State of New York.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: that the Board of Education of the City of Yonkers accepts the Annual Review recommendations made by the Committee on Preschool Special Education and that the listing of such recommendations be maintained in the office of the Executive Assistant to the Board of Trustees.
