Rationale:
|
This is to authorize execution of purchase order to replace flooring in the Barack Obama School for Social Justice Library (Palisade Prep), Ella Fitzgerald Academy Auditorium (Scholastic Academy), and Roosevelt High School-Early College Studies, rooms 226, 329 and faculty lounge. Procurement is though NYSOGS Contract Group 20600 Floor Coverings and Related Services, piggyback onto the Tarkett Contract Number PC69412 for Milburn Flooring.
The floor in the above areas has deteriorated and is no longer serviceable. This is to secure materials for District forces to install new vinyl flooring and stair treads as needed. The existing flooring is to be abated by others or removed by District forces.

WHEREAS: Flooring needs to be replaced in the Barack Obama School for Social Justice Library (Palisade Prep), Ella Fitzgerald Academy Auditorium (Scholastic Academy), and Roosevelt High School-Early College Studies rooms 226, 329 and faculty lounge, and
WHEREAS: Vinyl composite floor tiles are available through NYSOGS Contract Group 20600 Floor Coverings and Related Services Tarkett Contract Number PC69412 for Milburn Flooring, for the amount of $17,353.74.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: That a purchase order to replace flooring in the Barack Obama School for Social Justice Library (Palisade Prep), Ella Fitzgerald Academy Auditorium (Scholastic Academy), and Roosevelt High School-Early College Studies, rooms 226, 329 and faculty lounge be issued to Milburn Sales Co., Inc D/B/A Milburn Flooring 20 35th Street Copiague, NY 11726 for an amount not to exceed $17,353.74 for a term of 180 calendar days.
