Resolution: WHEREAS via resolution 17.9 dated May 17, 2023, Service Contract No. 2023-0854, “Inspection, Testing and Maintenance of Fuel Oil Tanks and Cathodic Protection Systems” was awarded to Luzon Environmental Services in the amount of $135,187.53 for a term of 365 calendar days, and

WHEREAS via resolution 17.6 dated May 15, 2024, the contract was extended for a year, increasing the total contract amount from $135,187.53 to $270,375.06 for a period of 730 calendar days, and

WHEREAS the administration recommends the District to extend the contract for an additional 90 calendar days in the amount of $30,000.00.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: That the Board of Education hereby authorizes the Superintendent of Schools to extend Service Contract No. 2023-0854, “Inspection, Testing and Maintenance of Fuel Oil Tanks and Cathodic Protection Systems”, increasing the contract term from 730 to 820 calendar days and the total contract amount from $270,375.06 to $300,375.06.
