Scope: To authorize extension to Service Contract No. 2024-0221 "Playground Equipment and Safety Surfacing Repair and Maintenance" to Playground Maintenance Corp. d/b/a Playground Medic, for 90 calendar days with no increase in funding.
This extension is to complete the repair work approved and not yet completed due to lead time in supply of playground equipment.

WHEREAS via Resolution 16.20, dated July 19, 2023, Contract 2024-0221, "Playground Equipment and Safety Surfacing Repair and Maintenance" was awarded to Playground Maintenance Corp. d/b/a Playground Medic. for $93,000.00 and 365 calendar days, and
WHEREAS the administration recommends the District to extend the contract another 90 calendar days with no increase in funding.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: That the Board of Education hereby authorizes the Superintendent of Schools to extend Contract 2024-0221, "Playground Equipment and Safety Surfacing Repair and Maintenance", increasing the term to 455 calendar days and the total amount to $93,000.00.
