Lehman College Art Gallery
Term: September 1, 2020 – June 30, 2021
Amount: $3,850.00
Scope: Lehman College Art Gallery will provide an intensive 4-day digital media-artmaking residency for students. They will learn Stop Motion Animation and create short films. Teachers will receive a separate professional development program to teach basic stop motion animation techniques, 4 sessions, 90 minute each.

Resolution:

WHEREAS the Board of Education wishes to enter into a contract with Lehman College Art Gallery to purchase, consulting services to support digital artmaking residencies to Roosevelt High School – Early College Studies students for the 2020-2021 school year,
WHEREAS the district administration has designed in conjunction with Lehman College Art Gallery a program which meets the objectives set forth by the Board and the New York State Education Department, and,
WHEREAS the Board of Education authorizes the Superintendent of Schools to enter into an agreement with Lehman College Art Gallery to provide these services, and
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: That the Board of Education hereby authorizes the Superintendent of Schools to enter into an agreement with Lehman College Art Gallery at a cost not to exceed $3,850.
It is acknowledged and agreed that pursuant to the terms of that certain intermunicipal agreement by and between the City of Yonkers Board of Education (“BOE”) and the City of Yonkers (the “City”) as filed in the Office of the City Clerk on June 16, 2014, the terms of this agreement are subject to review and revision by the Corporation Counsel, as well as approval by the City’s Board of Contract and Supply. Furthermore, this Agreement shall not be enforceable until signed by both parties and approved by the Corporation Counsel’s Office.
