Scope: Adoption of Special Education Biennial District Plan entitled "District Policies, Practice and Procedures for Assuring Appropriate Educational Services and Due Process in Evaluation and Placement of Students with Disabilities".

Resolution:

WHEREAS: Section 3602 (8)(b) of the New York State Education Law and Part 200.2(c) of the Rules and Regulations of the Commissioner of Education requires the District to develop an acceptable plan for special education services.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: That the Board of Education hereby authorizes the adoption of a Biennial Special Education District Plan, entitled "District Policies, Practices and Procedures for Assuring Appropriate Educational Services and Due Process in Evaluation and Placement of Student with Disabilities" effective immediately;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That, as required by New York State Education Law Section 3602 and Part 200.2 of the Rules and Regulations of the Commissioner of Education, the Biennial Special Education District Plan shall be kept on file at the administrative offices of the Yonkers City School District and shall be made available for public inspection and review by the New York State Commissioner of Education.
