Scope: Amendment #1 increase in the amount of $17,568; the total amount of amended contract will be $66,543. BOE app. 11.17.21; BOCS app. 11.23.21; Additional services needed for planning and convening 1st mentor meeting, planning for Fall semester and facilitating Summer Session 2022.

Resolution: WHEREAS the Board of Education wishes to amend (#1) contract # 2022-0441 with The Leadership Academy to provide additional services to support YPS in implementing, designing and assessing the YULA program for the 2021-2022 school year,

WHEREAS the district administration has designed in conjunction with The Leadership Academy a program which meets the objectives set forth by the Board and the New York State Education Department, and,

WHEREAS the Board of Education authorizes the Superintendent of Schools to enter into an agreement with The Leadership Academy to provide these services, and

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: That the Board of Education hereby authorizes the Superintendent of Schools to amend the agreement with The Leadership Academy at a cost not to exceed $17,568.00 making the total contract amount $66,543.

It is acknowledged and agreed that pursuant to the terms of that certain intermunicipal agreement by and between the City of Yonkers Board of Education (“BOE”) and the City of Yonkers (the “City”) as filed in the Office of the City Clerk on June 16, 2014, the terms of this agreement are subject to review and revision by the Corporation Counsel, as well as approval by the City’s Board of Contract and Supply. Furthermore, this Agreement shall not be enforceable until signed by both parties and approved by the Corporation Counsel’s Office.
