1. Annual Review of Disabled Children
Term: 2023-2024 School Year
Scope:This is a resolution as required by Part 200 Regulations from the Special Education Department requesting the Board of Trustees' approval of the Annual Review recommendations for school age (K - 12) students receiving special education services, as determined by the Committee On Special Education (CSE) during the month.
FOCUS POPULATION: Students grades K - 12 who are classified as students with a disability.
ASSESSMENT PROCESS: Review IEP Goals for each student receiving special education services to determine if they are still eligible for services for the 2023-2024 school year.

WHEREAS a Committee on Special Education has been organized and approved by the Board of Education and said Committee has conducted Annual Review meetings in accordance with the requirements of the State of New York and has made recommendations for the disabled students in the Yonkers Public Schools or in the approved out-of-district public and private schools in accordance with the Regulations of the State of New York.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: that the Board of Education of the City of Yonkers accepts the Annual Review recommendations made by the Committee on Special Education and that the listing of such recommendations be maintained in the office of the Executive Assistant to the Trustees.
