10.3 To Consider for Approval the modification of the Memorandum of Agreement (“MOA”) between the Yonkers Board of Education (“Board”) and the Yonkers Federation of Teachers (“YFT”) dated June 23, 2023, whereby certain terms and conditions of the collective bargaining agreement (“CBA”) were modified as set forth therein and will be further modified as set forth in the attached MOA dated September 7, 2023.

Resolution:
|
WHEREAS, the parties engaged in good faith negotiations to arrive at a successor collective bargaining agreement; and
WHEREAS, the collective negotiations between the Board and the YFT resulted in an MOA, dated June 23, 2023 which was ratified by the YFT on June 23, 2023 and approved by the Board on June 28, 2023; and
WHEREAS, the Board and the YFT are therefore party to a MOA dated June 23, 2023 for the period of July 1, 2022 through June 30, 2027; and
WHEREAS, further negotiations have resulted in an agreement to modify the June 23, 2023 MOA as provided in the MOA dated September 7, 2023, attached hereto; and
WHEREAS, after consideration of the MOA dated September 7, 2023, the Board wishes to state its approval of that agreement.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: That the Board hereby approves the MOA dated September 7, 2023 between the Board and the YFT.
