Scope: The Leadership Academy will assist YPS in designing, implementing and assessing the YULA program for aspiring administrators for school year 2022 2023

Resolution: WHEREAS the Board of Education wishes to amend the contract #2023-00000485 from Resolution 16.6 BOE meeting of 9.21.22 (original amount of $8000); BOCS app. 9.29.22 with The Leadership Academy to the amount of $57,600; an increase of $49,600 to assist YPS in designing, implementing and assessing the YULA program for aspiring administrators for the 2022-2023 school year,

WHEREAS the district administration has designed in conjunction with The Leadership Academy a program which meets the objectives set forth by the Board and the New York State Education Department, and,

WHEREAS the Board of Education authorizes the Superintendent of Schools to amend the contract from Resolution 16.6 with The Leadership Academy to provide these services, and

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: That the Board of Education hereby authorizes the Superintendent of Schools to amend the current contract with The Leadership Academy at a cost not to exceed $57,600. The contract will be increased by $49,600.

It is acknowledged and agreed that pursuant to the terms of that certain intermunicipal agreement by and between the City of Yonkers Board of Education (“BOE”) and the City of Yonkers (the “City”) as filed in the Office of the City Clerk on June 16, 2014, the terms of this agreement are subject to review and revision by the Corporation Counsel, as well as approval by the City’s Board of Contract and Supply. Furthermore, this Agreement shall not be enforceable until signed by both parties and approved by the Corporation Counsel’s Office.
