Luzon Environmental Services. Term: 365 calendar days Amount: $135,187.53 Scope: To authorize Amendment 1 to the General Fund Service Contract No. 2023-0854 “Inspection, Testing and Maintenance of Fuel Oil Tanks” to Luzon Environmental Services. Overview: The purpose of this contact is to continue to provide annual testing and maintenance of the fuel oil storage tanks throughout the District in compliance with NYS Law and as mandated by the Westchester County Dept. of Health. This extension is for the first of Four contractually available annual extensions.

WHEREAS via Resolution 17.9 dated May 17, 2023, the Board of Education authorized the award of Contract 2023-0854 “Inspection, Testing and Maintenance of Fuel Oil Tanks” to Luzon Environmental Services, and WHEREAS said contract provides for the option to renew by mutual consent under the same terms and conditions for up to four 365 calendar day extensions, and WHEREAS there is mutual consent of the parties to extend this contract for the first of the four possible extensions. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: That the Board of Education hereby authorizes the Superintendent of Schools to issue the second extension of Service Contract No. 2023-0854, “Inspection, Testing and Maintenance of Fuel Oil Tanks” to Luzon Environmental Services in the amount of $135,187.53 for 365 calendar days, increasing the contract from $135,187.53 to $270,375.06 and the term to 730 calendar days.
