Rationale: This is to authorize the administration to continue with its occupation of the warehouse space at 201 Saw Mill River Road in Yonkers as a holdover tenant for one month at current rental rates for the purpose of negotiation. A new lease will be presented in January 2021. This one month will be at the current rental rate of $16,291.67

The District has been leasing this space since 1995. There have been three 5 year lease extensions, the first in 2000.

Resolution: Ladies and Gentlemen:

WHEREAS: the Board of education entered into a lease with the 201 Saw Mill River road development Corp. on May 17, 1995 and,

WHEREAS: this lease was modified and extended by the Board via Resolution No. 12.6 on June 16, 2010, and

WHEREAS: this lease was further modified and extended via Board resolutions 20.12 on June 17, 2015, and

WHEREAS: the Board is still in need of warehouse space to house the and serve as the central storage and distribution center for the food services, school facilities management, information technology and,

WHEREAS: the Board of Education desires to extend the terms of the lease with 201 Saw Mill River Road Development Corporation for an additional month that shall commence on January 1, 2021 at a cost not to exceed $16,291.67
