This is to award a Purchase Order as referenced above as per the attached emergency declaration for “Procurement of Goods & Services for COVID19 Response” issued by the Superintendent on July 27, 2020.
Bids are not required under an emergency declaration but request for quotations (RFQs) were issued to 5 vendors with intentions to award multiple vendors as deemed necessary to meet the demand for the Districtwide HVAC Restoration. Bids were received on August 5, 2020 and only 2 bids were received from Atlantic Westchester, Inc. and Sun-Dance Energy Contractors, Inc.
This is to award the subject PO which is to be implemented on a “Time and Material” and “when and where” basis for up to $158,100 for the COVID19 Districtwide HVAC Restoration.

Ladies and Gentlemen;
WHEREAS: An Emergency Declaration was issued on July 27, 2020 for “Procurement of Goods & Services for COVID19 Response”, and
WHEREAS: Under this emergency declaration the District solicited under RFQ-6536 “On-Call HVAC Restoration” services for an amount up $158,100.00, and
WHEREAS: Atlantic Westchester, Inc. indicated that they were capable and ready to make such services at the solicited prices.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: that the Superintendent of Schools is hereby authorized to award the above CAPITAL FUND Purchase Order for On-Call HVAC Restoration under Emergency Declaration for CIP 10901 “COVID19 Districtwide HVAC Restoration” to Atlantic Westchester, Inc. in an amount not to exceed $158,100.00. Term is for 365 calendar days.
