Resolution:
|
WHEREAS the Board of Education wishes to enter into a contract with Sunoco, LLC to purchase No. 2 fuel heating oil, and
WHEREAS the District is required to supply No. 2 fuel heating oil to most of its schools and other facilities to provide heat and hot water, and
WHEREAS such service is available for procurement from Sunoco, LLC, 3801 West Chester Pike, Newtown Square, PA 19703, under New York State Office of General Services Contract PC70305, Group 05500, Award 23287, and
WHEREAS in accordance with General Municipal Law, the administration recommends such procurement under this NYSOGS contract,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: That the Board of Education hereby authorizes the Superintendent of Schools to enter into an agreement with Sunoco, LLC at a cost not to exceed $11,000,000.00.
