Rationale:
|
This is to authorize Amendment 1 to PO 2022-3051 CIP 10930 “Building & Site Upgrades” at Lincoln High School Engineering Services with H2M Architects & Engineers for $10,000.00. This increases PO 2022-3051 from $440,000 to $450,000.
This amendment is to cover the cost for the design of a press box for the Lincoln High School Athletics Field. H2M will design, permit, bid and provide construction administration services for CIP 10947. The estimated cost of the new press box is $300,000. SED requires a separate project number, permit and project authorization.

Ladies and Gentlemen:
WHEREAS: by Resolution Item 14.4 dated November 17, 2021, the Board of Trustees authorized the award of Purchase Order 2022-3051 to H2M Architects & Engineers for design of CIP 10930 “Building & Site Upgrades” at Lincoln High School, and
WHEREAS: an amendment is required for additional District directed architectural/engineering services in the amount of $10,000.00 for 10947 “New Athletics Field Press Box” at Lincoln High School increasing the purchase order from $440,000 to $450,000.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: That the Superintendent of Schools is hereby authorized to amend Purchase Order 2022-3051 to H2M Architects & Engineers, 538 Broad Hollow Road, 4th Floor East, Melville, NY 11747 for additional engineering services on 10930 “Building & Site Upgrades” at Lincoln High School to include the design of 10947 “New Athletics Field Press Box” at Lincoln High School for an additional $10,000.00 increasing the fee from $440,000.00 to $450,000.00 and no change in contract term.
