RFQ 2025-00002334 was opened on September 19, 2024. There were four bidders. Bellmore Home Center, Inc. (DBA: Costello’s Ace Hardware) is the lowest responsive and responsible bidder.

Resolution:

WHEREAS the District desires to maintain and clean its buildings in the most effective manner, and
WHEREAS the propane stripping machines have proven to be a significant part of this effectiveness, and
WHEREAS in accordance with General Municipal Law, the administration recommends such procurement under this RFQ to Bellmore Home Center, Inc. (DBA: Costello’s Ace Hardware) in an amount not to exceed $18,976.77.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: That the Board of Education hereby authorizes the Superintendent of Schools to award RFQ 2025-00002334, “Procurement of three Karcher 27” Propane Floor Burnishers” to Bellmore Home Center, Inc. (DBA: Costello’s Ace Hardware) in an amount not to exceed $18,976.77 for a term of 365 calendar days.
