Rationale: Term: Sept. 1, 2020-August 31, 2021
Amount: $6,682 for 1,350 pre-kindergarten
The cost for each the pre-k and kindergarten classes are for the Seesaw online distance learning platform designed for early elementary students.
Funding: $6,682.50 for 1,350 Pre-K student and teacher licenses
$9,405.00 for 1,900 Kindergarten student and teacher licenses. Total cost: $16,087.50.

Resolution: WHEREAS the Board of Education wishes to enter into a contract with Seesaw Learning to purchase its digital PK and K platform for distance learning for all students and teachers at these grade levels to ensure the continuity of instruction for the 2020-2021 school year,
WHEREAS the district administration has designed in conjunction with Seesaw Learning a program which meets the objectives set forth by the Board and the New York State Education Department, and,
WHEREAS the Board of Education authorizes the Superintendent of Schools to enter into an agreement with Seesaw Learning to provide these services, and
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: That the Board of Education hereby authorizes the Superintendent of Schools to enter into an agreement with Seesaw Learning at a cost not to exceed $16,087.50.

It is acknowledged and agreed that pursuant to the terms of that certain intermunicipal agreement by and between the City of Yonkers Board of Education ("BOE") and the City of Yonkers (the "City") as filed in the Office of the City Clerk on June 16, 2014, the terms of this agreement are subject to review and revision by the Corporation Counsel, as well as approval by the City's Board of Contract and Supply. Furthermore, this Agreement shall not be enforceable until signed by both parties and approved by the Corporation Counsel's Office.
