Rationale:

Amendment 4 to Purchase Order 2020-6554 CIP 10874 Riverside High School for Engineering Services with Eisenbach and Ruhnke Engineering, PC for $99,524.50.
This is to authorize Amendment 4 CIP 10874 “Interior Renovations, Doors, Security and Site Work” at Riverside High School under contract 2020-0594 to Eisenbach & Ruhnke Engineering, P.C. (E&R), for $99,524.50 increasing PO 2020-6554 from $330,000 to $429,524.50 and increasing their term by 121 calendar days.
This amendment is to cover the cost of added engineering work to remediate unforeseen mold & moisture conditions in closed drywall walls, curation of water infiltration at the front of the building and evaluation of concrete sidewalk slopes and configuration and to extension of on-site time for the installation of deferred items due to supply chain issues.

Ladies and Gentlemen:
WHEREAS: by Resolution Item 15.2 dated August 21, 2019, the Board of Trustees authorized the assignment Eisenbach & Ruhnke Engineering, P.C. for Architectural/ Engineering services on CIP 10874 “Interior Renovations, Doors, Security and Site Work” at Riverside High School, and
WHEREAS: by Resolution 15.3 dated July 15, 2020 the Board of Trustees authorized the re-assignment of Purchase Order 2020-6554 to the current on-call Contract 2020-0594, and
WHEREAS: by Resolution 16.10 dated February 24, 2021 Board of Trustees authorized the balance of the services proposed by RFP 420-19-09 increasing their PO by $90,000.00 to $330,000, and
WHEREAS: by Resolution 20.10 dated March 17, 2022 certain funding codes applied to this contract were corrected having no impact on the project, and
WHEREAS: an amendment is required for additional District directed engineering services in the amount of $99,524.50 increasing PO 2020-6554 from $330,000 to $429,524.50 and increasing the term by 121 calendar days.
