Scope: Bid RFB-6604 opened 3/29/2021, 3 bids, award to low bidder Mola Group Corp. in the amount of $23,768.08. The Yonkers Public Schools Pathways to Success (PTS) Adult Education Program is requisitioning the purchase of desktop, monitors and webcams and ancillary supplies for our Pathways to Success Program. This equipment will create a 21st Century learning environment in which adult students can learn transferable skills to help prepare them for employment, to obtain the High School Equivalency Diploma and/or enter Post-Secondary Education. The supplies were in the Grant for purchase, and the vendor written in MWBE certified.

Resolution: WHEREAS the Board of Education wishes to enter into a contract with Mola Group Corp. to purchase computer equipment to support the Adult Education Program for the 2020-2021 school year,

WHEREAS the district administration has designed in conjunction with Mola Group Corp. a company which meets the objectives set forth by the Board and the New York State Education Department, and,

WHEREAS the Board of Education authorizes the Superintendent of Schools to enter into an agreement with Mola Group Corp. to provide the services, and,

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED; That the Board of Education hereby authorizes the Superintendent of Schools to enter into an agreement with Mola Group Corp. at a cost not to exceed $23,768.08.

It is acknowledged and agreed that pursuant to the terms of that certain intermunicipal agreement by and between the City of Yonkers Board of Education (“BOE”) and the City of Yonkers (the “City”) as filed in the Office of the City Clerk on June 16, 2014, the terms of this agreement are subject to review and revision by the Corporation Counsel, as well as approval by the City’s Board of Contract and Supply. Furthermore, this Agreement shall not be enforceable until signed by both parties and approved by the Corporation Counsel’s Office.
