Rationale:
|
This is to award a capital equipment funded purchase order to furnish and install two scoreboards each in Lincoln High School and Yonkers Middle High School to Daktronics, Inc.
This is being procured through Omnia Partners Purchasing Cooperative contract with Daktronics, Inc. which end in 2027 using equipment capital funds.

Ladies and Gentlemen:
WHEREAS: The District desires that its athletics program facilities be at optimum condition, and
WHEREAS: The gymnasium scoreboards at Lincoln High School and Yonkers Middle High School are no longer operational and beyond servicing, and
WHEREAS: New scoreboards are available for purchase from Daktronics, Inc., through the Omnia Partners Purchasing Cooperative, and
WHEREAS: In accordance with General Municipal Law 104b, the district is permitted to avail itself of the goods awarded in this contract, and
WHEREAS: Acceptable quotes to furnish and install four scoreboards from Daktronics, Inc. at a total of $64,950.00 for all four scoreboards.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: That the award of a purchase order to Furnish & Install Four Scoreboards be issued to Daktronics, Inc. 201 Daktronics Drive, Brookings SD 57006 in the amount $64,950.00 and a term of 365 calendar days.
