Scope – In January 2024, the District released RFP 487 – Website Development, Content Management System and Mass Notification System and Maintenance. Currently we are in the process of finalizing the selection of the vendor and fully expect to submit a Board Resolution in August 2024 for the award. The expectation is to go live with the new website in July of 2025. As result of that we will need to continue with our current provider of these services, Finalsite, as we look to begin with the configuration of the new platform for a summer 2025 roll out. This resolution is seeking the approval of the Board of Education to continue the agreement with Finalsite for the Schoolwires platform to provide web related presence/services for the 2024-2025 school year. This is the final year of the Schoolwires platform as Finalsite will be sunsetting the product in 2025.

Resolution:

WHEREAS the District has been maintaining its web presence through the use of Schoolwires since July 2016 and is seeking to continue the agreement with Finalsite for the 2024-2025 school year at which time Finalsite will be sunsetting the Schoolwires platform, and,
WHEREAS the District released RFP 487 - Website Development, Content Management System and Mass Notification System and Maintenance in January 2024. We are currently finalizing the selection process of the vendor and fully expect to submit a Board Resolution in August 2024 for the award, and,
WHEREAS we fully expect to go live during the summer of 2025 and therefore need a one year continuation in order to prepare the configuration and migration to the new platform.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: That the Yonkers Public Schools issue a purchase order, for a one-year continuation of service with Finalsite, in the amount of $101,918.00 for the 2024-2025 school year.
