Vendor: One Circle Foundation Term: September 2024 - August 2025 Amount: $18,224.23 Scope: One Circle Foundation will provide The Council for Boys and Young Men Facilitator Training and Complete Set of Curricula so the School District can provide The Council for Boys and Young Men program to the youth. The Council for Boys and Young Men® is a strengths-based group approach to promote boys’ and young men’s safe and healthy passage through pre-teen and adolescent years. In this structured environment, participants gain the vital opportunity to address masculine definitions and behaviors and build capacities to find their innate value and create good lives individually and collectively.

WHEREAS the Board of Education wishes to enter into a contract with One Circle Foundation to purchase The Council for Boys and Young Men Facilitator Training to support and promote boys’ and young men’s safe and healthy passage through pre-teen and adolescent years for the 2024-2025 school year, WHEREAS the district administration has designed in conjunction with One Circle Foundation a program which meets the objectives set forth by the Board and the New York State Education Department, and, WHEREAS the Board of Education authorizes the Superintendent of Schools to enter into an agreement with One Circle Foundation to provide these services NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: That the Board of Education hereby authorizes the Superintendent of Schools to enter into an agreement with One Circle Foundation at a cost not to exceed $18,224.23. It is acknowledged and agreed that pursuant to the terms of that certain intermunicipal agreement by and between the City of Yonkers Board of Education (“BOE”) and the City of Yonkers (the “City”) as filed in the Office of the City Clerk on June 16, 2014, the terms of this agreement are subject to review and revision by the Corporation Counsel, as well as approval by the City’s Board of Contract and Supply. Furthermore, this Agreement shall not be enforceable until signed by both parties and approved by the Corporation Counsel’s Office.
