Resolution:

WHEREAS, the Yonkers Board of Education’s July 15, 2020 Award of RFB-6514 Category #3 and #4 was contingent upon the lowest responsible bidders complying with Section 112 of the City Code of the City of Yonkers regarding Hack Licenses and all other requirements of RFB #6514; and
WHEREAS, bids in response to RFB-6514 were solicited and opened on June 12, 2020 in compliance with General Municipal Law, and
WHEREAS, upon further review of bid submissions in response to RFB-6514 Categories #3 and #4, the Yonkers Board of Education and its administration has determined that the requirements of RFB #6514 were not met by the apparent low bidder in the above-referenced Categories of RFB-6514; and
WHEREAs, the Yonkers Public Schools wishes to rescind its July 15, 2020 awards of Categories #3 and 4 of RFB-6514; and
WHEREAS, as a result of examination of the bids submitted in response to Categories #3 and #4, the administration determined that the apparent low bidder did not meet the requirements of RFB-6514;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the awards made on July 15, 2020 Categories #3 and #4 of RFB-6514 are hereby rescinded pending further review of the received bids by the Superintendent and/or his designee(s).
