Rationale:
|
This is to provide a three-season jacket with YPS logo for the 250 custodians and maintenance workers of the School Facilities Department at a price of $60.00 per jacket for the total cost of $15,000.00. This OMNIA Partners price has been discounted by $5 per each. Outerwear was not included on the original uniform order with Cintas. This was deferred depending on the success of the program. The addition of this 3-season wear will further promote the added professionalism the uniform program has already inspired. The supply of uniforms is in compliance with the current CSEA contract. This is essentially similar to the Cintas agreement with the City DPW which includes outdoor clothing. Procurement is through the purchasing cooperative Omnia Partners R-BB-19002. Overview: YPS LOGO THREE-SEASON JACKET • Wind and water-resistant outer shell • Breathable fabric, coated for soil release performance • Fleece lining with hollow-core technology for extra warmth • Gusseted sleeves for ease of movement • Wind cuffs for protection from the cold • Inside left cellphone pocket with Velcro ® closure • Dropped tail hem with elastic drawstring • 100% Polyester • Imported
