Bridge The Break, LLC D.B.A. Don't Snooze On Clues (DSOC)
Term: October 2024-September 2025
Amount: $50,000.00
Scope: Bridge the Break, LLC DBA Don't Snooze on Clues (DSOC) will provide age-appropriate after school courses focusing on Social Emotional Learning that promotes a safe and healthy learning environment for students and families and Yonkers Public Schools staff on related topics. Programming will include training with teachers and other school personnel to co-host after-school workshops at each of the schools listed below:
1. Eugenio Maria de Hostos School,
2. Justice Sonia Sotomayor Community School
3. Las Hermanas Mirabal Community School
4. Yonkers Middle High School

Resolution:

WHEREAS the Board of Education wishes to enter into a contract with Bridge the Break, LLC DBA Don't Snooze On Clues to provide age-appropriate after school courses focusing on Social Emotional Learning that promotes a safe and healthy learning environment for students and families and Yonkers Public Schools staff on related topics. Programming will include training with teachers and other school personnel to co-host after-school workshops at each of the schools for the 2024-2025 school year,
WHEREAS the district administration has designed in conjunction with Bridge the Break, LLC DBA Don't Snooze On Clues a program which meets the objectives set forth by the Board and the New York State Education Department, and,
WHEREAS the Board of Education authorizes the Superintendent of Schools to enter into an agreement with Bridge the Break, LLC DBA Don't Snooze On Clues to provide these services, and
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: That the Board of Education hereby authorizes the Superintendent of Schools to enter into an agreement with Bridge the Break, LLC DBA Don't Snooze On Clues at a cost not to exceed $50,000.
It is acknowledged and agreed that pursuant to the terms of that certain intermunicipal agreement by and between the City of Yonkers Board of Education (“BOE”) and the City of Yonkers (the “City”) as filed in the Office of the City Clerk on June 16, 2014, the terms of this agreement are subject to review and revision by the Corporation Counsel, as well as approval by the City’s Board of Contract and Supply. Furthermore, this Agreement shall not be enforceable until signed by both parties and approved by the Corporation Counsel’s Office.
