To amend Resolution 13.12 dated September 18, 2024 to authorize the City of Yonkers to enter into an agreement with Allen L. Fraitag and David L. Fraitag (“PROPERTY OWNERS”) for the purchase of 135-145 McLean Avenue.

To amend the verbiage of the September 18, 2024 Board of Education resolution #13.12 to authorize the City to enter into an agreement with the PROPERY OWNERS for the purchase, demolition, and creation of a parking lot.

Resolution:
|
WHEREAS, the City of Yonkers has identified a suitable property for a parking lot at the following parcels: 135 McLean Ave., 139 McLean Ave., 143 McLean Ave. and 145 McLean Ave.; and
WHEREAS, the Yonkers Board of Education approved resolution # 13.12 at its September 18, 2024 stated meeting to authorize the creation of a parking lot for the Justice Sonia Sotomayor Community School;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: That the Board of Education hereby authorizes the Mayor, or his designee, to enter into an agreement with PROPERTY OWNERS for the acquisition of the property by the City of Yonkers, as Trustee for the Board of Education, and for any other actions necessary to facilitate the purpose of this resolution.
