Resolution
WHEREAS by resolution 18.13 dated May 18, 2022, the Board of Education authorized the award of “Professional Environmental Consulting Services”, and

WHEREAS by resolution 12.4 dated March 19, 2025, the Board of Education amended Contract No. 2022-0818 “Professional Environmental Consulting Services” to add another 365 days to the term, and

WHEREAS an Emergency Declaration was issued on March 26, 2025 for “Asbestos Sampling and Testing” at Thomas Cornell Academy.

WHEREAS the District requires asbestos inspection, air sampling and reporting at Thomas Cornell Academy, and

WHEREAS the response by LiRo Engineers Inc. is to be deemed most advantageous to the District at a cost of $7,404.00.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: That the Board of Education hereby authorizes the Superintendent of Schools to assign LiRo Engineers Inc. to the task of providing asbestos inspection, air sampling and reporting at Thomas Cornell Academy at a cost not to exceed $7,404.00 for a period of 180 calendar days.
