Bridge The Break, LLC D.B.A. Don't Snooze On Clues (DSOC)
Term: July 1, 2024 - October 31, 2024
Amount: $50,000.00
Scope: The purpose of this Resolution is to enter a contract with Bridge The Break, LLC D.B.A. Don't Snooze On Clues (DSOC). DSOC will provide targeted Social Emotional Learning (SEL) curriculum-developed programs for school-aged students, support programs for parents/guardians, and professional development for staff at four targeted schools: Enrico Fermi School, Cesar E. Chavez School, School 5, and Casimir Pulaski School. DSOC's program topics will include Anti-Bullying/Respect for All and Mental Wellness (mindfulness, coping, and breathing techniques).

Resolution
WHEREAS the Board of Education wishes to enter into a contract with Bridge The Break, LLC D.B.A. Don't Snooze On Clues to purchase curriculum-developed programs for school-aged students, support programs for parents/guardians, and professional development for staff to support the goals of the RECOVS: Recover From COVID School Program Mental Health Grant for the term of July 1, 2024 to October 31, 2024,

WHEREAS the district administration has designed in conjunction with Bridge The Break, LLC D.B.A. Don't Snooze On Clues a program which meets the objectives set forth by the Board and the New York State Education Department, and,

WHEREAS the Board of Education authorizes the Superintendent of Schools to enter into an agreement with Bridge The Break, LLC D.B.A. Don't Snooze On Clues to provide curriculum-developed programs for school-aged students, support programs for parents/guardians, and professional development for staff, and

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: That the Board of Education hereby authorizes the Superintendent of Schools to enter into an agreement with Bridge The Break, LLC D.B.A. Don't Snooze On Clues at a cost not to exceed $50,000.00.

It is acknowledged and agreed that pursuant to the terms of that certain intermunicipal agreement by and between the City of Yonkers Board of Education (“BOE”) and the City of Yonkers (the “City”) as filed in the Office of the City Clerk on June 16, 2014, the terms of this agreement are subject to review and revision by the Corporation Counsel, as well as approval by the City’s Board of Contract and Supply. Furthermore, this Agreement shall not be enforceable until signed by both parties and approved by the Corporation Counsel’s Office.
