Rationale:
This is to increase the funding for construction management services with Savin at YMHS classroom work to reflect the expansion of the project scope form $1.5 to $2.3 million after they had submitted their proposal. The added fees are in accordance with their contract fee schedule

This is to amend PO 2018-8551 Construction Management Services to Savin Engineers, P.C. for CIP 10812 “Reconstruction of Portions of the Building” at Yonkers Middle High School in the amount of $20,000.00 increasing the PO from $66,200.00 to $86,200.00.

The PO was recommend for award via Board Resolution 20.15 dated April 18, 2018. This is being done under the umbrella requirements contract No. 618507.

Ladies and Gentlemen:

WHEREAS; via Resolution Agenda Item 20.15 at the April 18, 2018, the Board of Trustees authorized the assignment of construction management for CIP 10812 to Savin Engineers, and

WHEREAS: the District is adjusting the contract for Construction Management services with Savin for CIP 10812 in the amount of $20,000.00.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: That the Board of Education authorizes the Superintendent of Schools to issue this amendment to 2018-00008551 for Construction Management Services to Savin Engineers, P.C., 3 Campus Drive, Pleasantville, NY 10570, in the amount of $20,000.00, therefore revising the PO from $66,200.00 to $86,200.00.
