This is to award a general fund contract for the purchase of flooring materials to Milburn Flooring via New York State OGS Contract PC69410 Mohawk Carpet Distribution, Inc., Group 20600, Award 23200 “Floor Coverings & Related Services” in the amount of $16,715.69 for a term of 365 calendar days.
This resolution authorizes the District to issue the subject purchase order for Milburn Flooring to supply:
• Safety Zone Tile
• Johnsonite Reducer
• S-515 Adhesive 4 Gail Pail
• Stair Tread Tape 164 |

Resolution
|
Ladies and Gentlemen:
WHEREAS: the Yonkers Board of Education requires that all existing flooring surfaces be maintained and improved, free of any and all trip hazards, and
WHEREAS: Yonkers Public Schools in its process of maintaining and improving flooring surfaces throughout the District will purchase flooring materials, as needed, and
WHEREAS: at Enrico Fermi School, Milburn Flooring will supply Safety Zone Tile, Johnsonite Reducer, S-515 Adhesive 4 Gail Pail and Stair Tread Tape 164
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: That the Board of Education hereby authorizes the Superintendent of Schools to enter into a contract with Milburn Sales Co., Inc. (dba: Milburn Flooring), 20 35th Street, Copiague, NY 11726, via New York State OGS Contract PC69410 Mohawk Carpet Distribution, Inc., Group 20600, Award 23200 “Floor Coverings & Related Services” for an amount not to exceed $16,715.69 for a term of 365 calendar days. |
