Scope: To authorize Amendment 1 to Service Contract No. 2024-0242 "Annual On-Call Arborist Services ", to Almstead Tree & Shrub Care Co., for $102,960.00 and 365 calendar days.
This extension is for the first of two contractually available annual extensions.
This is an annual tree cutting, trimming, pruning and storm clean up service contract. Work is to be done on an as-needed basis at contract bid unit prices. |

Resolution
|
WHEREAS via Resolution 16.23, dated July 19, 2023, Contract 2024-0242, "Annual On-Call Arborist Services" was awarded to Almstead Tree & Shrub Care Co. for $102,960.00 and 365 calendar days, and
WHEREAS bid specifications provide for two annual extensions by the mutual consent of both parties under the same terms and conditions of the original contract, and
WHEREAS the administration recommends the District invoke this renewal clause and renew the contract for the first time for another 365 calendar days and $102,960.00.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: That the Board of Education hereby authorizes the Superintendent of Schools to extend Contract 2024-0242, "Annual On-Call Arborist Services" with Almstead Tree & Shrub Care Co., increasing the term to 730 calendar days and the total amount to $205,920.00. |
