Abbott & Price, Inc. Term: No change in contract term Amount: $10,552.71 Scope: Change Order 2 for CIP 10945 “Kitchen & Site Upgrades” at Robert C. Dodson School in the amount of $10,552.71, increasing Contract No. 2024-0706 to $740,624.61 with no change in contract term. Change Order 2 work for CIP 10945 for the amount of $10,552.71 includes unforeseen conditions in the amount of $25,208.17 and credit change orders for deleted scope of work in the amount of ($14,655.46). See attached Change Order 2 Log for CIP 10945 for listing of itemized work. This will be the final change order for this contract. |

WHEREAS via Resolution 16.8 dated March 21, 2024, the Board of Education authorized the award of Contract No. 2024-0706 for CIP 10945, Bid No. 7083, General Construction Contract for the “Kitchen & Site Upgrades” at Robert C. Dodson School to Abbott & Price, Inc. for $689,808.00 and a term of 365 calendar days, and WHEREAS by Resolution 13.8 dated September 18, 2024, the Board of Education authorized Change Order 1 for $40,263.90, increasing the contract from $689,808.00 to $730,071.90 with no change in term, and WHEREAS additional work is required for CIP 10945 in the amount of $10,552.71 of which is, increasing the contract from $730,071.90 to $740,624.61. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: That the Board of Education hereby authorizes the Superintendent of Schools to issue Change Order 2 to Contract No. 2024-0706 for CIP 10945 “Kitchen & Site Upgrades” at Robert C. Dodson School to Abbott & Price, Inc., for the amount of $10,552.71, increasing the contract amount from $730,071.90 to $740,624.61 and no change in contract term. |
