Overview:
In compliance with General Municipal Law 103, bids were let and opened in public on March 22, 2024. Eight (8) bids were received, examined and all due diligence observed in determining that Renu Contracting & Restoration, Inc., is the lowest responsive and responsible bidder. The work was designed by Fuller & D’Angelo Architects. The highest bid was $553,000.

Ladies and Gentlemen;
WHEREAS Bids were issued for public advertisement and opened on March 22, 2024 in compliance with General Municipal Law 103 for Bid No. 7094 General Construction Work, Contract 1 of 2 for the “Building & Electrical Contracts for Phase 3 – Windows & Ceiling Replacement and New Generator” at PS 29 Project No. 10878, and
WHEREAS Such bids were duly examined and as a result the administration has determined that Renu Contracting & Restoration, Inc., is the lowest responsive and responsible bidder with a bid of $213,000.00.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: That the Board of Education hereby authorizes the Superintendent of Schools to award Bid No. 7094 General Construction Work, Contract 1 of 2, for Project No. 10878 for the “Building & Electrical Contracts for Phase 3 – Windows & Ceiling Replacement and New Generator” at Westchester Hills School 29 to Renu Contracting & Restoration, Inc., in an amount not to exceed $213,00.00 for a term of 365 calendar days.
