This extension is for the first of two contractually available annual extensions of Contract 2022-0749 with Window Repair Systems, Inc. for $17,550.00 and 365 calendar days.
This is the annual service contract, with the provision for renewal for up to two additional years by mutual consent under the same terms and conditions for the window installation and repair as needed.

Ladies and Gentlemen:
WHEREAS: By Resolution 15.15 dated March 16, 2022, the Board of Education authorized the award of Contract 2022-0749 “Maintenance and Repair of Windows” to Window Repair Systems, Inc., and
WHEREAS: By Resolution 15.14 dated February 15, 2023, the Board of Education authorized the issue of Change Order 1 to Contract 2022-0749 for an amount of $20,000.00 increasing the contract from $17,550.00 to $37,550.00 with no change in term, and,
WHEREAS: Said contract provides for the option to renew by mutual consent under the same terms and conditions for up to two 365 calendar day extensions, and
WHEREAS: There is mutual consent of the parties to extend this contract for the first of the two possible extensions.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: That the Superintendent of Schools is authorized to issue the first extension of Service Contract 2022-0749, “Maintenance and Repair of Windows” to Window Repair Systems, Inc. 2363 Sandifer Blvd, Westminster, SC, 29693, in the amount of $17,550.00 for 365 calendar days, increasing the contract from $37,550.00 to $55,100.00 and the term to 730 calendar days.
