This work includes unforeseen and owner directed work for additional site related work outline in the Westchester Hills School 29 CIP 10955 Change Order Log.
CIP 10956 requires additional work in the amount of $11,880.96, less a contract contingency of $15,000, a credit change order for ($3,119.04) is required. This work includes omission, unforeseen, and owner directed work for additional site related work outline in the Paideia School 15 CIP 10956 Change Order Log.

Resolution:

WHEREAS via Resolution 18.11 dated August 16, 2023, the Board of Education authorized the award of Contract No. 2024-0244 for CIP 10953, 10954, 10955 & 10956, “Playground Upgrades – Part 1 of Playgrounds & Select Building Upgrades” at Montessori School 27, Kahlil Gibran School, Westchester Hills School 29 and Paideia School 15 to Abbott & Price, Inc. for $1,222,222.00 and a term of 183 calendar days, and
WHEREAS via Resolution Item 18.32, dated June 18, 2024 Change Order 1 was approved to Abbott & Price, Inc., extending the contract term to 453 calendar days, and
WHEREAS additional work is required for CIP 10953, 10954, 10955 & 10956 for the amount of $33,492.24 of which is, increasing the contract from $1,222,222 to $1,255,714.24.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: That the Board of Education hereby authorizes the Superintendent of Schools to issue Change Order 2 to Contract No. 2024-0244 for CIP 10953, 10954, 10955 & 10956, “Playground Upgrades – Part 1 of Playgrounds & Select Building Upgrades” at Montessori School 27, Kahlil Gibran School, Westchester Hills School 29 and Paideia School 15 to Abbott & Price, Inc., for the amount of $33,492.24, increasing the contract amount from $1,222,222 to $1,255,714.24 and no change in contract term.
