Amount: $216,268.80
Scope: To award Johnson Controls Fire Protection, LP for “Fire Alarm Inspection and Service” in an amount not to exceed $216,268.80. Procurement via GML104b NYS OGS Contract No. PT68816, Award 23150, Group 77201 “Intelligent Facility & Security Systems and Solutions”, expiration date August 26, 2024. The District has received verbal confirmation from the vendor that the contract has been extended for another term, we are awaiting the official award.
The work will be performed in the 2024-2025 school year as part of mandatory fire alarm system inspections and service in all YPS Facilities.

Resolution:
|
WHEREAS the District is required to maintain operational fire alarms and ancillary equipment, and
WHEREAS such service is available for procurement from Johnson Controls Fire Protection, LP, under NYS OGS Contract No. PT68816, Award 23150, Group 77201 “Intelligent Facility & Security Systems and Solutions” for the 2024-2025 school year, and
WHEREAS in accordance with General Municipal Law the administration recommends such procurement under this contract.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: That the Board of Education hereby authorizes the Superintendent of Schools to award “Fire Alarm Inspection, Service and Maintenance” to Johnson Controls Fire Protection, LP under NYS OGS Contract No. PT68816, Award 23150, Group 77201 “Intelligent Facility & Security Systems and Solutions” in an amount not to exceed $216,268.80 for a term of 365 calendar days.
