Scope: Just Right Reader will provide Teacher Training to Museum School 25 teachers and in addition to will provide English Library Classpacks (Kindergarten to High Interest) and Spanish Take-Everywhere Literacy PacksTM to grades K-2. Classpacks include sets of six (6) English Library titles, best used for small-group reading. Take-Everywheres are specially curated sets of books using student reading assessment data to meet their unique phonics needs to Museum School 25

WHEREAS the Board of Education wishes to enter into a contract with Just Right Reader to purchase consulting services and materials to provide Teacher Training and English Library Classpacks (Kindergarten to High Interest) and Spanish Take-Everywhere Literacy PacksTM to grades K-2. Classpacks include sets of six (6) English Library titles, best used for small-group reading. Take-Everywheres are specially curated sets of books using student reading assessment data to meet their unique phonics needs to Museum School 25 for the 2024-2025 school year,
WHEREAS the district administration has designed in conjunction with Just Right Reader a program which meets the objectives set forth by the Board and the New York State Education Department, and,
WHEREAS the Board of Education authorizes the Superintendent of Schools to enter into an agreement with Just Right Reader to provide these services, and
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: That the Board of Education hereby authorizes the Superintendent of Schools to enter into an agreement with Just Right Reader at a cost not to exceed $55,937.25
