Term: November 2023 – July 2024
Amount: 28,500
Scope: Amending contract 2024-00000488, BOCS approved 11/8/2023 for $34,236 for the term of 11/1/2023 - 6/30/2024. This amendment is for an increase of $28,500 to purchase additional culinary classes as a part of the district’s Summer S.T.E.A.M. Academy for 80 7th and 8th graders in a culinary cohort and extend the term through 7/31/2024. Keys to Abundant Life will be providing the equipment, supplies, lesson plans, food and instructor for each class.

Resolution:

WHEREAS the Board of Education wishes to amend an existing contract with Keys to Abundant Life Inc. to purchase consulting services to support program offerings in the Summer S.T.E.A.M. Academy for the summer of 2024,
WHEREAS the district administration has designed in conjunction with Keys to Abundant Life Inc. a program which meets the objectives set forth by the Board and the New York State Education Department, and,
WHEREAS the Board of Education authorizes the Superintendent of Schools to amend an existing agreement with Keys to Abundant Life Inc. to provide these services, and
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: That the Board of Education hereby authorizes the Superintendent of Schools to amend an existing agreement with Keys to Abundant Life Inc. at a cost not to exceed $28,500.00.
