Scope: Transfinder is a web-based pupil transportation routing software (NYSED Approved) with multiple features to enhance student support services that will benefit Yonkers Public Schools transportation department, school administrator, and parents/guardians. Transfinder was selected through RFP-512 "Bus Transportation Routing Software", see attached RFP Document.

Resolution:

WHEREAS, the Board of Education of the Yonkers City School District solicited in compliance with NYS and the City of Yonkers procurement policy through the issuance of a publicly advertised request for proposals RFP-512 "Bus Transportation Routing Software", requesting proposals from software companies with a web based student routing software.
WHEREAS, based upon review and evaluation of the proposals, the school district's selection committee recommends that Transfinder Corporation be awarded RFP-512 in order to proceed with the Year 1 contract for the student routing software "Transfinder Plus". Year 1 contract will be used for the routing of students during the 2025 Summer ESY Programs and the 2025-2026 School Year.
WHEREAS, RFP-512 will be extended for 2 more additional years; Year 2 encompassing the 2026 Summer ESY programs and the 2026-2027 School Year; Year 3 encompassing the 2027 Summer ESY Programs and the 2027-2028 School Year.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, the Superintendent of Schools hereby authorized to pay Year 1 "Best and Final" proposal of $138,830.00, following the final budget approval for the 2025 Summer ESY Programs and the 2025-2026 School year.
