SAS Institute Inc is an interface that enables users to write and submit code, as well as to use point-and-click tasks to generate queries, reports, and graphics. These services will be provided as Professional Development training for selected team to the office of Research, Accountability and Reporting in two sessions. The office will use the SAS platform to generate reports for the State on behalf of the Yonkers Public Schools District, in addition to generating reports for internal and external parties, this tool supports sustainable, effective, and efficient work for the Yonkers Public School District.

WHEREAS the Board of Education wishes to enter into a contract with SAS Institute Inc to purchase training services to support the Office of Research, Accountability and Reporting for the 2024-2025 school year. The SAS Institute Inc will provide training for data analysis, statistical tests, assessment scoring, assessment reporting for schools, and state accountability reporting, WHEREAS the District, with the use of SAS, is meeting the challenges of building and editing New York State data warehouse submissions using the statistical package, for the 2024-2025 school year, NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: That the Board of Education hereby authorizes the Superintendent of Schools to purchase the SAS Institute Inc the training software package at a total cost not to exceed $10,160.00.
