The New York State Education Department requires public schools to complete fire safety inspections at all buildings that are owned, operated or leased by Yonkers Public Schools.

WHEREAS via resolution 17.8 dated May 17, 2023, Contract No. 2024-0156, “Annual School Facilities Fire Safety Inspections and Fire Prevention Training”, was awarded to Code Compliance Inspections, Inc, and
WHEREAS the New York State Education Department requires public schools to complete fire safety inspections at all buildings that are owned, operated or leased by Yonkers Public Schools, and
WHEREAS this change order for $1,200.00 is required for inspecting Justice Sonia Sotomayor Community School and Robert Halmi Sr. Academy of Film and Television.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: That the Board of Education hereby authorizes the Superintendent of Schools to amend Contract No. 2024-0156, “Annual School Facilities Fire Safety Inspections and Fire Prevention Training”, to Code Compliance Inspections, Inc., to add $1,200.00 with no change in term.
