Rationale: This is to authorize possible expenses for storage and refrigeration during a warehouse move scheduled in early January 2023. These expenses may occur due to the buildout at the new location (60 Fullerton Ave) not being complete until, on or about, 1 March 2023, for an amount not to exceed $75,000.00 for a term of 365 calendar days.

The estimated expenses are as follows:

• Polar Leasing - Leasing of four (4) refrigerated storage containers: $46,000.00
• Cassone Leasing - Leasing of ten (10) non-refrigerated storage containers: $16,010.00
• Vendor To Be Determined - Electrical Connections : $1,600.00

Resolution: Ladies and Gentlemen:

WHEREAS, the District desires to move warehouse locations from 201 Saw Mill River Road to 60 Fullerton Ave, and

WHEREAS, the anticipated completion of the construction in the new warehouse is on or about 1 March 2023, and

WHEREAS, during the period of mid-December 2023 through mid-March 2023 the District must store and secure the following items:
• Refrigerated / frozen food
• Non-Perishable food items
• Small wares
• Maintenance and cleaning supplies, and

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: That the authorization for these expenses is paramount to the success of the move.
