Resolution:

WHEREAS the New York State Education Department mandates that all school districts engage an outside professional architect/engineer, as the consultant to conduct quinquennial inspections of all district owned buildings, known herein as the Building Condition Survey, and
WHEREAS this inspection is to be the basis for the consultant to prepare the required submissions to the New York State Education Department, and
WHEREAS Request for Proposals for the solicitation of this work were opened by Purchasing on February 7, 2025 and
WHEREAS the five responses to Request for Proposal 509 were duly evaluated by a selection committee and whereby KG+D Architects, P.C. was selected to perform this work.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: That the Board of Education hereby authorizes the Superintendent of Schools to award the 2025 Building Condition Survey and Five-Year Capital Plan work to KG+D Architects, P.C. for a fee not to exceed $425,00.00 and for a term of 365 calendar days.
