Scope: To provide additional environmental project monitoring services for the vinyl asbestos floor tile abatement for select rooms at School 5, Patricia A. DiChiaro School, Museum School 25 and Montessori School 31.
This is to increase the initial estimate for time and materials testing required for environmental project monitoring of asbestos contractor’s abatement work.

WHEREAS via Resolution 18.10 dated April 17, 2024, the Board of Education assigned “On-Call” Consulting, Design and Project Monitoring Services for School 5, Patricia A. DiChiaro School, Museum School 25 and Montessori School 31 to Eisenbach & Ruhnke Engineering, P.C., in the amount of $30,390.00, under Contract No. 2022-0816, and
WHEREAS Amendment 1 is required for additional environmental project monitoring and testing services, and
WHEREAS Eisenbach & Ruhnke Engineering, P.C. have presented an acceptable proposal to complete this added task at a cost of $4,500.00.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: That the Board of Education hereby authorizes the Superintendent of Schools to issue Amendment 1 under Contract No. 2022-0816 to Eisenbach & Ruhnke Engineering, P.C. for $4,500.00, increasing their task amount to $34,890.00.
