Term: October 1, 2024 - June 30,2025
Amount: $53,950.00
Scope: Imagine Learning, LLC. is the manufacturer of the Sonday System 1 Reading Intervention. Sonday System 1 offers structured, systematic, multisensory reading intervention for readers at the beginning stages of reading through the end of the 2nd grade reading level. The lesson plan uses proven Orton-Gillingham methods to provide effective intervention in small-group settings.
Nineteen (19) teachers will be trained in using the Orton-Gillingham method. The training will be an introduction to Multisensory Teaching Methodology and provide a detailed look at the implementation of the Sonday System 1 Reading Intervention Program. The training will offer hands-on use of the materials and practical strategies to use with struggling students. Materials will include 19 Sonday System 1 Teachers Kits to provide instructional support for students.

WHEREAS the Board of Education wishes to enter into a contract with Imagine Learning, LLC,
WHEREAS the Board of Education authorizes the Superintendent of Schools to enter into an agreement with Imagine Learning, LLC to provide these services,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: That the Board of Education hereby authorizes the Superintendent of Schools to enter into an agreement with Imagine Learning, LLC at a total amount not to exceed $53,950.00
